In 2011, Bassadone Automotive Group acquired the distribution rights for SsangYong Motor UK who had already built a reputation for creating durable and dependable vehicles, earning it a solid place in the automotive industry.
Over the last few years, serving as the official importer and distributor for the brand's vehicles, parts, and accessories, the company has undergone a significant transformation.
Led by a new management team and a growth strategy focused on expanding its retail network. In 2023, SsangYong Motor UK is working towards achieving a network of 75 retail partners, offering UK customers affordable, high-spec SUVs and pick-up trucks.
Recently SYM was taken-over by KG Group to become KG Mobility. The plans are to focus on new mobilities such as EV dedicated platforms, software defines vehicles, autonomous and AI solutions.
Bassadone Automotive Group is committed to contribute to the development of KG Mobility in the UK which is one of our identified territory of future growth.
